Getting mental health help in San Antonio should not take months.
Most psychiatrists have waitlists. Most primary care clinics send you somewhere else. Most people who finally decide to get help give up before they ever see a provider.
Medberry is different.
Our board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is accepting new patients right now at our Fredericksburg Road clinic. Same-day appointments available. No referral required.
If you have been dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, stress, or sleep issues — this is where that changes.

Dr Berry and team consistently demonstrate a level of care, understanding and flexibility that I don’t see very often. I’m was very satisfied with my care.Posted on Google David AlmanzaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I needed a primary physician and I didn't need to look far. I went to my first visit and it went great. From the beginning to end, I was treated with respect, compassion and privacy. They wasted no time in getting me seen and sending my prescription to the pharmacy. I never had a PCP before but I'll definitely be coming back to this one. Thank you for a great experience.Posted on Google Morgan RedactedTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nice clinic. I was nervous going in but the staff made me feel extremely comfortable and were on time. I didn’t have to wait past my scheduled appointment time. The physician Adam Casillas was also very nice and made me feel like I was in good hands.Posted on Google ALMA TOBERTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Foi realmente desagradável o atendimento da Carolina (recepcionista). Cheguei antes das 16:40h mencionando que talvez não compreendesse tudo em inglês. A partir daquele momento a atendente fechou a cara. Posted on Google Dory & Blake LeinoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stood there for 5 mins while no one unattended to me. I had scheduled work off and wasted gas just for front desk to mess up my appointment for in person not tele¹¹q¹health. The appointment that I scheduled for IN PERSON. It states on the advertisement they see for mental help. Lies. They have no psychiatrist there to help you with the proper care that is needed. Just a Np. They messed up my appointment twice. Demanded I pay my copay before my appointment date and I never saw the dr. I was scheduled for They telehealth a NP that I knew I needed to see a psychiatrist. They advertised it and its false information. Someone who suffers frm mental illness and know they need help. They did nothing for me at all. I stood there crying helplessly and just walked out. How could Healthcare workers be so unhelpful to our community like this.Posted on Google Maria AlonzoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The medical staff is very friendly and concerned about the patients well being.

NP Rodriguez is board-certified in psychiatric mental health nursing and brings experience across family medicine, psychiatry, and addiction medicine. She is bilingual in English and Spanish which makes quality mental health care accessible to more San Antonio patients who deserve to discuss their health in the language they are most comfortable in.
Her approach is direct, empathetic, and judgment-free. Patients consistently describe feeling comfortable discussing things they have never told another provider. That kind of trust is what makes treatment actually work.

Yes. NP Jacquelyn Rodriguez is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, and the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of Texas. She treats patients under the medical direction of Dr. Luke Berry MD.
Yes. NP Jacquelyn Rodriguez is bilingual in English and Spanish. She sees patients in both languages at our San Antonio clinic on Fredericksburg Road. For patients who are more comfortable discussing their mental health in Spanish NP Rodriguez provides the same quality of care in the language that feels right for you.
Your first visit is a conversation not an evaluation. NP Rodriguez takes the time to understand your full health picture — your symptoms, your history, your lifestyle, and your goals. She explains everything clearly and builds a treatment plan that makes sense to you before you leave. You will not feel rushed and you will not leave with more questions than you arrived with.
Yes and this is one of the biggest advantages of getting your mental health care at Medberry. Your PMHNP and your primary care provider are part of the same care team at the same clinic. They share your health information and coordinate your care together. If your mental health affects your physical health or your medications interact with each other your providers are already talking. That level of coordinated care is almost impossible to get when you see a psychiatrist at one office and a primary care provider somewhere else.
